Focused Discussion/Study Group Information Much of the course will be conducted in study groups. Click on this link to download a Adobe Acrobat file that will help you understand how this will work. All students will be expected to support their study group by reading their assignments, making assigned observations, and participating in class activities.
CRITIC - An Acronym for Critical Thinking. This document will help guide you in performing observations and evaluating evidence presented during classroom exercises.
Key Terms - by Class Session. This document will help you understand the new scientific words and terms that we will be using in class. If you understand what these words mean, it will be easier for you to understand and explain the concepts needed to pass the quizzes and examinations. Key terms will be covered at the beginning of each class session.

Challenges of the Day - These exercises will be used for collaborative investigation for each class session. Students will investigate them individually outside of class and explore their findings during class in their study groups.
