Astronomy Fieldtrip to the Smithsonian Institution

Students attend a Saturday fieldtrip to the Smithsonian National Air and Space museum which substitutes for one of the evening class sessions.  Activities include viewing an IMAX film and a visit to the Einstein Planetarium.  This is a required part of the class.  Download, sign, and turn-in the Park University Release Form.  Download the materials from this page and bring them with you on the day of the fieldtrip.

The fieldtrip will take place on Saturday, 24 February 2007 at the National Air and Space Museum.   Meet at the escalators by the Lockheed Martin Theater. Activities begin at 10 AM and conclude at about 4 PM. 

 Students are encouraged to bring family members and especially children with them.
