Developing and Managing Databases - National-Louis University. This course provides students with a basic understanding of relational database design and use in a business environment . Students use MS Access 2000 to understand database principles . Students use it to build a simple class database.
Spreadsheet for Managers - National-Louis University. This course provides students with a basic understanding of the use of spreadsheets in a business environment. Students use MS Excel to solve complex business problems.
Web Page Design - National-Louis University. This course provides students with a basic understanding of HTML and the principles of effective web site design for a business environment.
Computer Network & Intranets - National-Louis University. This course provides students with a basic understanding of Networks and the Internet. It It addresses the subject from the perspective of a business manager.
Information Systems Concepts National-Louis University. This course provides students with an introduction to Information Systems. Practical applications of theory and cutting edge technologies are stressed throughout the course.
Astronomy - Park University. This course provides students with an introduction to Astronomy and Cosmology. Students will study the complexities of the universe including the physical, chemical, and geological aspects. The planets, stars, asteroids, and nebula are covered.
Chemistry and Society - Park University. This course provides students with a basic understanding of Chemistry needed to understand how humans have impacted the Earth's environment.
Chemistry Seminar - Park University. Students examine the history and development of Chemistry and make presentations and perform lab experiments that demonstrate key discoveries in the science.
Science, Technology, and Society - Park University. This course provides students with a basic understanding science for citizens in a modern society. Principles of the scientific method are developed and used to understand our world.
Introduction to Computers - Park University. This course provides students with knowledge about the operation of modern computers from the perspective of both hardware and software. A hands on lab component is included
Computers and Society - Park University. This course presents the social, political, economic, multicultural and ethical issues surroundingthe use of computers and computer technology. Course work includes class discussion, readings, collaborative projects and formal term papers on selected topics.
Information Systems Theory with Management Applications - Trinity College. This course provides students with an introduction to Information Systems. Practical applications of theory and cutting edge technologies are stressed throughout the course.
